Obama Care – The Whole Truth

26 Mar

“Make no mistake about it. By 2014, every American will experience government intrusion into their health care decisions, health insurance coverage and relationship with their doctor. The Supreme Court and the 2012 election will determine whether we squander the finest health care in the world, or if we decide as a nation to fix what is broken. The stakes are high. We’re not politicians, we’re doctors, and as such we don’t treat Republicans or Democrats, we treat patients. Together we can do it right this time.”

The American Doctors for Truth have released this statement and ad about the cost-cutting measures of Obama Care and the frightening impact it will have on health care for the elderly.  And

US embassy in Afghanistan on lockdown as anti-American protests continue over Koran burning incident

I didn’t get this one post last week but it’s still relevant

The fresh violence came one day after clashes between Afghan troops and protesters broke out in the capital and in three eastern provinces over the incident, leaving at least seven people dead and dozens wounded.
The American embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is on lockdown as protests rage in multiple Afghan cities over an incident the U.S. says was inadvertent burning of Muslim holy books at a military base.
The U.S. military apologized Tuesday for the burning of books, including Korans, that had been pulled from the shelves of a detention center library adjoining Bigram air base because they contained extremist messages or inscriptions.

The White House later echoed military officials and said the burning was an accident.

"We apologize to the Afghan people and disapprove of such conduct in the strongest possible terms," they said in a statement quoted by the embassy on Twitter. ""This does not reflect the great respect our military has for the religious practices of the Afghanistan people”

The incident stoked anti-foreign sentiment that already is on the rise after nearly a decade of war in Afghanistan and fueled the arguments of Afghans who believe foreign troops are not respectful of their culture or Islamic religion.

This particular piece is a few days old.

As I read through a number of articles one can feel the anger of the American people. In the way President Obama has handled this whole affair. Can anyone remember the last time Washington showed any indignation or anger at the desecration of the American flag, the destruction of American property or the assassination of our military personnel? Has this President showed his weakness with his bowing to a King, overstating an apology, in his offering up our soldiers as the sacrificial lamb?

Where’s the demand for the Afghans to investigate and surrender the individuals who shot our soldiers in the back of the head execution style?

Respect is a two way street, you don’t burn/defile a symbol of another nation. This is just as disrespectful.

Over the years Muslims have taken over many Christians and Jewish houses of worship and have destroyed numerous religious relics of icons. Without ever apologizing for their disrespect.

The world has fought many crusades (wars) in this area. The will of God as stated in most holy books, was not, the destruction of mankind, but the unification of humanity.

The indignation that the Afghans feel over destruction of the Koran is reasonable. The destruction of property and taking of human life over this act is reprehensible. The Koran like, the bible and other holy documents {although they may have been inspired by god} were written and printed by man. Therefore man and time can and will destroy them. The material which these books are printed on will succumb to Mother Nature, but not the word printed within.

The Afghan people have allowed a few radicals to generate such anger, that they have forgotten that we are there working with them to improve both their country and their lives.

President Obama has forgotten the position he holds around the world. He has forgotten his responsibility to be a strong leader while showing compassion and still not appear weak. A three page apology is an overstatement of weakness.

How much manure can you put on the garden before you burn up  the flowers?

How much manure can you feed to the American people before they’ve had enough?

Sheriff Arpaio Press Release: Obama Birth Certificate

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio is released the results of the six-month investigation into the validity of the Barack Obama birth certificate, posted on the Internet, and said to be a copy of the president’s original birth certificate.

It’s a shame that Andrew Breitbart passed away before today’s press conference, he would have enjoyed it. Although Arpaio refused to be baited into accusing the president of the crime, he made it clear that the opinion of his experts, the document posted to the American public to see as absolute proof the president was born in Hawaii, is a fraud. The media tried hard, but the Sheriff refused to make any statement that he could not prove in court. It was very specific about not accusing the president of any wrongdoing.

A new month, another solar company with issues And what a surprise, another big-money Obama campaign contributor is involved.

Obama bundler Pat Stryker owns Bohemian Companies, a major Abound Solar Manufacturing investor. No one can accuse Obama of reneging on deals that brought in cash is needed to get elected president. It seems that everyone of the troubled companies that got Department of Energy grants or loans guarantees for Obama endorsed Green Projects were major contributors to Obama’s campaign efforts.

Here we go again. Today, layoffs. Tomorrow, bankruptcy? Another “green energy” company.a recipient of a $400 million American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA, or the stimulus) loan guarantee.

President; Obama’s Acting Like U.S. Is USSR

CNSNews.com) – Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) said Wednesday that President Barack Obama is acting like the U.S. is the Soviet Union in ordering that all health-care plans must cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions, but that when those plans are provided by religious institutions that have a religious objection to those things the insurance company must offer them for free.

“The president has said he offered an accommodation," said Johann’s in a speech on the Senate floor. "The accommodation is that: Whoa! Lo, and behold, this is going to be free. Now, I’d like to know what legal authority he relies upon that the president could ever order anyone to offer a service or an item free.

Is it possible; that he could make it any easier for people like me to see through the manure?  Unless you’re a mushroom, I can’t see how anyone can stand much more manure. O.  M. G.

Do You Facebook? Get Ready to Surrender Your Social Security Number 6:45AM
Come April 1st, Facebook will require you to enter a social security number
By Kurt Nimmo

{Is this right/is it even the legal? This part is an opinion of an old curmudgeon underlined by my concern for my privacy and my freedom.
first big brother is watching now Facebook/I don’t think a social Media like Facebook Has the legal right To require Anyone Social Security Number.Let’s face it. Were not buying a home,Applying for loan, No!! If they do this, if they require me to login with my social security number, I am out of here.}

PALO ALTO, California (IW) – Facebook will roll out a new member login format come April 1. It will require you to enter a social security number. Facebook claims the new procedure is designed to combat spam. From Facebook’s media relations department comes the following:

The new member log in format will be both safe and efficient for our users who fear having their Facebook identity stolen. The requirement for users to enter their social security numbers during log in, will completely take away the element of spam from unauthorized access. With cooperation from the United States government, we have compiled a database to verify that each person’s social security is accurate. Also, the last four digits of each users social will be displayed in their info section of their profile. Further upgrades to security are currently being planned, and will be announced as more information is given. (Emphasis added.)

In other words, under the pretense of saving you from annoying spammers, Facebook is teaming up with the federal government in an effort to get you acclimated to the idea of entering personal information before you will be allowed to use the internet. It will also streamline Facebook’s effort to track your online behavior, although it really does not need this data to do it (instead, it simply places a cookie on your computer).

Facebook said it corrected the tracking cookie issue, but a month later it was discovered that the “datr” cookie, which can be used to track users, was being sent to third-party websites with the Facebook plugin.

“Facebook has been accused of this nefarious activity many times before,” writes Chris Gabbard. He notes a number of lawsuits filed against the social network behemoth in Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and California, all claiming Facebook violates the Federal Wiretap Act.

Then it turned out Google was doing the same thing to Safari users in order to track their comings and goings. No sooner did this blow over it was revealed Facebook collaborated with the feds to spy on its phone users’ text messages.

It was reported back in 2010 that the government was using the popular network as a surveillance platform and in September of 2011 experts revealed that Google, Facebook and Twitter “are increasingly co-opted for surveillance work as the information they gather proves irresistible to law enforcement agencies,” according to Reuters.

Both Facebook and Google have changed their privacy policies to allow the companies to collect even more of your personal data and share it with “third parties” like the government and large corporations. Google’s new policy is especially egregious – it will now keep records on Google Maps search results, and combine Google+ and Gmail searches, records, and uploaded information, and more.

In December, open source guru Richard Stallman explained that “Facebook does massive surveillance.” Stallman’s observation follows that of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who characterized Facebook as “the most appalling spying machine that has ever been invented.”

Facebook “is not your friend,” Stallman said in January. “It is collecting data on you. The surveillance by Facebook is bigger than what you probably think. Don’t ever use the like button in FB as it immediately transfers information on you to someone,” Stallman said.

In 2009, the Electronic Frontier Foundation sued the CIA, the US Department of Defense, Department of Justice and three other government agencies for refusing to release information on how they use social networks as a surveillance tool.

It is now common knowledge that Facebook is a product of the CIA and the Department of Defense. The fact is so well-known it became the subject of a satire piece posted by The Onion. Google is linked to the CIA and the NSA and provides the agencies with sophisticated search technology. It also designed China’s Great Firewall of censorship.

If you’ll give up your social security number in order to see the newsfeeds of your friends, will you eventually consent to a fingerprint or retina scan before government gatekeepers allow you the privilege of using the internet?

UPDATE: It occurs to me that this article proposed something that is popular with the American people -increased accountability among our elected officials. I posted this from another website as indicated above, but after checking FACT CHECK, I'm reminded it is ... just an idea! While bits and pieces of this have been proposed by various members, nothing significant has happened yet!
